As a result, Lindsay Goulter- a diabetic was faced with a difficult decision in 2005 when doctors advised that they would need to amputate his leg due this infection. However, as a last hope and after many hours of research, he decided to try High Strength UMF 15+ Manuka Honey. To the doctors' amazement, the infection disappeared and need to amputate was gone. This led Lindsay to work with a team that could help create a formulation that utilised potency of Manuka Honey which as a result became Honey Biotics.
