When we first produced Honey Biotics Intense Moisturiser, it was to serve a very particular need. Back in 2009, a particularly aggressive infection was threatening my diabetic grandfather's foot. Having not responded to traditional treatments or antibiotics, the doctors had scheduled for him to undergo an amputation of the limb. In a last hope and on the advice of an old friend, he put a jar of Manuka Honey in a sock and wore it to bed. He woke up to find that the infection was almost completely gone.
