Derived from algae living in clear spring waters in Japan (Suizenji-nori) alga. Sacran is known for its soothing and anti-inflammatory properties.

Sacran has unique effects on the skin forming a gel-like film containing water in the presence of polylols, helping reduce penetration by water and chemicals. Studies have also shown that Sacran actually helps stimulate the release of oxytocin, providing a positive emotional effect immediately after application.
